BoomNG Saturday StarGist: Exclusive with Mc ScolyBaba

Ahead of his forthcoming concert tagged "Comedianistic Comedy", BoomNG hooked up with Mc ScolyBaba and staged an interview with one of mx finest comedians.

Its nice to have you on the show.

Its my pleasure.

So, Why did you choose comedy?  Why not something else?

I did not choose comedy, comedy choose me, I used to rap before coz I was in a group called hardroot, but each time I rap they laugh, due to the funny lines, then I was also in a drama group back in secondary school,you will be surprise if I tell you my family lifestyle inspired me more to do comedy.

How has the journey been thus far?

The journey so far is partially 0k, Now I get paid for any work or event, only not I am not satisfied with the amounts I get compared to the services I render, Now I am starting up my own show cause it is time to change minna and light it with entertainment especially in area of comedy.

There are noticeable links between you and General Chuks, Are we right to suspect so?

Let me say yes, we had met 2 times. I have his contact, I was introduced to him by my friend c2gatswag in abuja, I have also met with ambassador wahala and mc stainless ,I am believing GOD that the link will be pure s00n.

We pray it does, How do you term the current state of comedy in Niger State, Is there a fierce competition or are there viable spaces?

Comedy in Niger state is as old as any other thing in Nigeria, we are blessed with talent,we have people who have left Niger for other state and are making it big.

People like who?

Elenu, Alex, and many 0ther recognised comedians, so the competition is every were you just have to keep your head up and be relevant and well up to date with your jokes.

Your show "Comedianistic Comedy" is just around the corner, what should we expect from ScolyBaba?

We should expect the best of entertainment, information, education, causes I am not doing it alone my friends in d game are joining me, Minna is about to experience best comedy show ever.

After Comedianistic Comedy what should we expect from Mc ScolyBaba?

Continuity, a bigger show, a better scolybaba,  and we hope to bring in a star from Lagos just expect the best.
