Three Ways To Step-Up Your Artistic Skill

No artist wants to be called whack therefore the need for improvements.
As an artist, people do not like you because you dress well or girls frolic around you or you've got a nice stage name or you are handsome, No, they like you because of what you've got to offer, they listen to you because they enjoy your music.
When you and your music is not appealing to them they consider you whack.
But then there are steps to take which I know could help in dealing, wholly or partially, with whackness. Complete follow up of these steps would do wonders for you.

1. Practice

Practice makes perfect. What ever thing you do always makes sure you practice that thing day in day out.
Are you a Singer, always practice how to sing!  Are you a comedian, practice new jokes all the time!  Are you a dancer, practice new moves!  You become a sought-for-commodity cause you'd posses skills people seek.
Do not rest on your odds, go the extra-mile so as to attain perfection.

  2. Learn From Others

If as a comedian you do not watch comedy shows, how do you expect to improve?
If as a musician you do not listen to songs, how would you learn?
If as a dancer you do not follow top dancers and watch dance videos how do you expect to be up-to-date with latest moves?
There's probably no way. Learning is a continuous process, it doesn't end.
For you to excel in your chosen field, learn from peeps who have excelled in that field or have gone farther than you.
Aside learning from veterans, newbies around could have a thing or two you could pick up. Despise no one and do not let pride take the better part of you..

3. Be Diligent

In whatsoever we do, Diligence is a must-do. Do not slack on the way. Do not give up. When it seems you done all you can and yet there isn't any evidence of work just keep working.
Laziness is the bed-rock of defeat. No lazy person excels. People who rule the world today are people who applied a lot of work to their dealings.
Wizkid in one of his songs said "I worked a lot when I started this, right now am on a holiday" you too have got to work. Alaye, Double Your Hustle.

As I stated earlier on a "Complete Follow-Up of these points aforementioned would do wonders for you"
